Frequently asked questions
How much does a liver transplant cost in Türkiye?
Programs at Turgut Özal Medical Center start from about $45,000, including 12 months of follow-up. The final price depends on the medical evaluation.
Who can be a donor?
Turkish law requires living donors to be relatives up to the fourth degree or spouses, with an ethics-committee approval for other cases. Cross (swap) transplantation is possible when blood groups do not match.
How long will I stay in Türkiye?
For a liver or kidney transplant, plan for roughly 4 to 8 weeks including evaluation and recovery. Shorter treatments may take only days.
Do you help with visas?
Yes. We obtain the hospital invitation letter and guide you through the visa application for the patient and companions.
Is my medical information kept confidential?
Your file is shared only with the hospitals and doctors evaluating your case, and only with your consent.
Medical information on this page is general and does not replace a consultation with a qualified physician. Outcomes and success rates are reported by the hospitals and vary by patient. Matrix Groups coordinates treatment; medical decisions are made by the treating hospital.
